See Edinburgh like never before with Invisible Cities, the award-winning social enterprise that trains people who have experienced homelessness to become walking tour guides of their own city.
You will meet Paul our guide, on the grassmarket, at the Best Selfie Spot, to find out about the history of the square. Go up Candlemaker row, and learn about fellow social enterprises in the old town. We will make a stop at Greyfriars cemetary to hear about body snatchers (and who the first ones were!) then go down the Historical Royal Mile.
The tour will end at the Scottish Parliament.
Sales from the tour will support the work Invisible Cities does in their local community, supporting people who have experienced homelessness.

Meet Your Guide
Paul is an Edinburgh local legend. Born in England, he moved to sunny Leith when he was a child and though he traveled throughout Europe, he always came back to Edinburgh.
Paul has experienced homelessness himself and has been a guide with Invisible Cities for 3 years now. He runs regular tours of his local area as well as historical experiences. He is passionate about his city and cannot wait for you to discover it too!
