We begin the tour at Plymouth Rock where the Pilgrims first landed on December 22, 1620. Today we celebrate that as Forefathers Day. From there we will climb Cole's Hill and take in the view Plymouth Harbor and Brewster Gardens. Walking up Leyden street we will talk about how the Pilgrim's celebrated Christmas. In Town Square we will see the Town Christmas Tree and 2 historic churches. Finally we will stroll along Main Street and North Street enjoying the shop windows in their holiday finery as we discover when Christmas began to look more like what we are accustomed to today.
