Itinerary

Visit the smallest country on earth in this virtual experience of the Vatican City and the surrounding area. Learn how the Vatican Hill went from being a graveyard to the center of Catholicism, as you discover many iconic locations, from St Peter's Basilica, the largest church in Christendom, and the renowned Sistine Chapel from the architecturally stunning St Peter’s square. View the official residence of the Pope, and the window from which he gives his Sunday blessings. Then stroll down the beautiful Road of the Conciliation, towards the impressive, Saint Angel Castle, which has been a safe-haven for Popes for hundreds of years.

This is a private live virtual tour. Our professional, local guide will be showing you Rome’s most fascinating sights in real time, directly from the streets of Rome. You will be connected via video call and you can then explore the city together. With your experienced guide you will see more than just the Rome of today, you’ll also get a glimpse back in time because each tour is complemented with an excellent selection of multimedia. You will be shown historic photographs and videos to help with explanations, stories and the historical context of Rome's incredible and turbulent past. You can’t get any closer to history without a time machine!
