Itinerary
Explore the elegant Georgian streets of the New Town of Edinburgh with Mike. This will be a series of tours as we take our time to wander throughout the town. We will admire the Georgian and Victorian architecture of some of the important historical building such as the Assembly Rooms. Edinburgh is a city of statues of key influential characters from the Scottish Enlightenment. Some are very quirky and odd.
The New Town began in 1767 for the propose of building a more comfortable living place for the residents of Edinburgh. We will start from St Andrew Square then work our way down George Street. Then we will take some detours down Rose street and Princes street. Eventually making our way to Charlotte Square.
