Itinerary

The baroque of Ouro Preto is a journey back to XVIII century to visit the two most famous baroque churches of Ouro Preto! In the state of Minas Gerais, Ouro Preto is one of Brazil’s best-preserved colonial towns and a UNESCO World Heritage Site! At this time you will have a chance to visit the town, but we’re gonna go deep in the two most important churches: Virgin Mary of Pillar and St. Francis of Assisi’s church. We can compare the different phases of baroque, since the beginning of XVIII century full of gold leaf, up to rococo style, at the end of the century with “Aleijadinho”‘s work, the greatest artist from the colonial time! I look forward to showing you all this in an interactive live tour! Come and join us in The baroque of Ouro Preto virtual tour!See you there!
