Welcome to the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre (UWEC) or Uganda Zoo!

First established in 1951 under the British colonial ruling aimed at wildlife conservation and rehabilitation of animals that were orphaned, injured, or saved from poachers.

After indepedence it became a zoo and based on a NewYork Zoologist society recommendations, it was restablished as an educational centre now UWEC in 1994 todate.

The centre also operates as a tourism site one of the biggest attractions  in Uganda a home to almost all the tropical animals.

We shall take a gentle safari wildlife walk around the zoo including having an educational purpose as we try to meet every animal especially star attractions like the lion, lioness, chimpanzees, elephants, and giraffes.

We booked the tour for a corporate event. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, personable and answered our questions thoroughly. We're very pleased with the results and will continue to use Beeyonder in the future.

Our group had a fantastic time on this tour, it's the best virtual tour experience we have had. At times it really felt like you were actually there and getting an up close and personal look at the wildlife. It really helps when you have great tour guides like Karol and Geoffrey, you could tell they were both very passionate and excited to share what they do. I will be recommending this tour to all my colleagues.

Beeyonder is currently in a transition period and not accepting new bookings at this time. We look forward to serving you in the future.
