Itinerary
Discover the wonders of the Latin Quarter from the comfort of your home. Join a professional local guide, while filming her walking tour live, so you can communicate and immerse into the streets of the City of Light, just like if you were there!
This stroll allows you to admire beautiful monuments located in one of the oldest areas of Paris, the highlight of the left bank, and home of knowledge, with its numerous schools, including the oldest one in France.
You will start the tour with a view on le Pantheon, which is a tribute for great French figures, located on top of the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève. Meet the lady who gave her name to this mount and how she saved Paris from Attila and the Huns. You will walk from schools to universities such as La Sorbonne, Polytechnic, Lycée Henri IV... and step in one of the main streets of the Gallo Roman, ancestor of Paris known as Lutetia, to approach the splendid Cluny hotel, sheltering the National Museum of the Middle Ages.
You will have the chance to see the facades of the medieval churches of Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre, Saint-Étienne-Du-Mont and Saint-Séverin.
As a home of knowledge, this quarter had to offer a lot of libraries to supply the students. You will see one of the most popular bookstores and library, specializing in English literature, called Shakespeare and Company, which is located in a lovely park, home to the oldest tree of Paris, planted in the early 17th century!
Let’s get dizzy by walking amongst the dark, winding, narrow streets, untouched by the Haussmannization in the middle 19th century, to arrive at Place Saint-Michael and the statue showing him slaughtering the dragon.

My Paris Tour
Hi there!
Thank you for reading those lines and for your interest in this tour and my lovely city!
My name is Leo, although I'm a girl! I've been a tour guide for 7 years in Paris and beyond as I love to share my passion for history with curious visitors traveling from all over the world.
I'm honoured to be part of Beeyonder team because I think it's important to allow anyone to access culture, even if unable to travel for any reasons.
So I decided to keep on offering virtual tours after the pandemic, which are also an ecologic and economic way to discover a city or a topic!
Then, I hope to virtually meeting you soon during one of the various tours I created for Beeyonder.
