Itinerary

The best way to learn about one culture is by being among the people on their daily activities.

In this tour, we will walk along the main street of Yogyakarta passing some colonial buildings, Presidential Palace, then off to the Beringharjo central market. Meet the locals, feast your eyes with colorful merchandise, arts and clothes offered by the street vendors and raise your appetite with the variety of our street food. Also, I will share with you the history and wisdom of the Javanese people.

Hello, my name is Gagat. I was born and grew up in Jakarta (the capital city of Indonesia), but my mother came from this city. And since year 2001, I have lived and enjoy the hospitality of the people of Yogyakarta.

During this time, I have developed my affection to this city and its people, as well as its cultures and heritages. And today, I am very happy to share them all with you.
